Job Duties: Work
with the Victim
Assistance Program
Director, through
the law enforcement
agencies, to
initiate timely
victim contact to
provide services
to victims of crime
throughout Grant
County. Coordinate
domestic violence
response, assist in
the investigation of
domestic violence
and child abuse
reports. Work is
generally performed
indoors in an office
or law enforcement
setting. Work
requirements may
include sitting,
standing, walking,
stooping, bending,
lifting, reaching
and carrying. Work
may also require
the ability to move
quickly from place
to place. Work
will require rapid
response to written
reports including
statistical tracking
and reporting
requirements.
Communicating
effectively o the
telephone or in
person is required.
This position
requires occasional
daytime travel to
local meetings
and attendance
at overnight
conferences;
may require use
of county vehicle
or private car for
travel. Screening
Requirements:
High school diploma
or equivalent
and experience
working in a social
service setting, or
any satisfactory
combination of
experience and
training which
demonstrates the
knowledge, skills
and abilities to
perform all of the
duties described
above. Possess
or have the
ability to obtain
a valid Oregon
Driver’s License.
