Terry Harper leads the
group this year as head coach
with assistant coach Tye Par-
sons and help from volunteer
parent coaches.
“We have a group con-
sisting mainly of beginner
wrestlers in their fi rst or sec-
ond year, but our fi rst meet
in Baker this last weekend
proved we have a very strong
team already,” Harper said.
“Each wrestler has improved
by leaps and bounds, even in
just the three weeks we’ve
had. As my fi rst year as head
coach, I’m excited to have the
opportunity to work with and
watch these kids continue to
grow as wrestlers.”
One exciting moment from
the competition came when
Zeke Rookstool, who was be-
hind 11-3, came back to pin
his opponent in the fi nal, plac-
ing fi rst for his age group.
