Established in 1989
W e strive to provide a haven for sports activities, hiking/walking, fishing and a
peaceful beautiful place to just hang out or picnic with your family and friends.
We provide the development, care and maintenance for the
Seventh Street Complex, John Day City Park and City Swimming Pool.
Our programs to the community include youth and adult sports programs as well as community gatherings like the Annual
Daddy Daughter Dance, and our fundraising events include the Hilton Half Marathon and the Zombie Run.
Our goal is to begin providing new Adult and Youth programs in the future and encourage community feedback of your
ideas to better serve our community.
Volunteers are an integral part of our Recreation Programs and continue to be an invaluable resource.
Our summer lunch program continues to provide nourishing meals for the youth of our community.
