Crafts & Collections
have learned about the beauty and
variety of flowers grown in Grant
County Gardens. The fair booth
provides a wonderful showcase
for all the hard work and loving
care put into creating these beau-
tiful blooms.
- I’ve
always loved fair time, even as a child
when my grandfather, JC Larkin, was
Grand Marshall during fair and junior
rodeo. Great memories at the Grant
County Fair with my brother and I s
neaking on grounds. I have crafted as
long as I can remember. I was very
happy to become a superintendent for
crafts. I have been a craft superintendent for at least 10 years and plan
on continuing being part of the Grant County Fair, the longest contin-
uous running fair in Oregon.

growing fuits and veggies whether for
canning, freezing or fresh for the
table. With our abundant sunshine in
Grant County, we have the
opportunity to raise healthy
gardens and healthy families. So
bring in your fruits and veggies for
entry and let the community see your
handiwork!

4H photo club. She was away from
open class for a few years but returned
and has been revising it to make it
what it is today.

Textile and Fiber Arts - We
have lived in Grant County since
1959. I have 1 daughter, 3 grand-
children and 4 great grandchil-
dren. I have volunteered at the
Grant County Fair for many years
as a ceramics, crafts and textile
superintendent. I really encourage
people to volunteer to help at
THEIR Grant County Fair.

Heather Rookstool
Legos - 541-390-5790 - I moved
to Grant County in 2000. I work
at Java Jungle and am the Grant
County Facilitator for "My future,
my choice.”
I was on the fair board in years
past and I'm now currently the VP
of baseball on the little league
board. I love volunteering in the
community for many different events. I have been the su-
perintendent for Legos the past 2 years and have enjoyed
growing the booth!!!!
