City of John Day
A meeting of the John Day City Council will be held on May
24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at 450 E. Main, John Day, Oregon. The
purpose of this meeting is to discuss the budget for iscal
year beginning July 1, 2016 as approved by the Budget
Committee. A summary of the budget is presented below. A
copy may be inspected or obtained at the Recorder’s Oice,
City Hall, John Day between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00
p.m. Monday through Friday. The budget was prepared on
a basis of accounting that is consistent with the basis used
last year.
A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Grant
County Extension & 4-H Service District, County of Grant,
State of Oregon to discuss the budget for the iscal year July
1, 2016 to June 30, 2017 will be held at 201 South Humbolt,
Suite 280, Canyon City, Oregon. The meeting will take place
on June 1, 2016 at 9:15 AM. The purpose of the meeting
is to receive the budget message, and to receive comment
from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget docu-
ment may be inspected or obtained on or after May 20, 2016
at 530 E. Main Street, Suite 10, John Day, Oregon, between
the hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. This is a public meeting
where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.
Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the
proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

Water Right Transfer T-11981
T-11981 iled by Mary Marciel, 54874 Highway 26, Mt.
Vernon, OR, 97865, proposes a change in point of appropri-
ation under Certiicate 66815. Certiicate 66815 allows the
use of 1.2 cfs from a well within Sec. 30, T13S, R30E, WM
for supplemental irrigation in Sects. 30 and 31. The appli-
cant proposes to change the point of appropriation to three
new wells located within Sec. 30. The Water Resources De-
partment has concluded that the proposed transfer appears
to be consistent with the requirements of ORS Chapter 540,
OAR 690-380-2110 and 690-380-5000.
