Treatment Plant
Operator. Desirable

knowledge of
principles, methods,
materials, tools and
equipment used in
treatment plant
operations and
maintenance,
including biological
and chemical
processing and
related principles
in chemistry and
biology; principles
of sample collection
and preservation,
safety and bio-
control laboratory
tests and the
possession of a
Level II Wastewater

ability to obtain the
Level III Wastewater
*LY[PÄJH[L^P[OPU
one (1) year. The
position may be
required to work
rotating shifts,
weekends and
holidays. Previous
experience with a
[YPJRSLÄS[LY
wastewater
treatment facility
desirable.
Equivalent to high
school education
supplemented by
additional training
equivalent to two
years of college in
wastewater
technology and
three years
experience at a
Class II or higher
wastewater
treatment facility.
Must have a valid
Oregon Driver’s
License or the abili-
ty to obtain one.
Salary is $2,678 -
$3,655 per month
