In wagons, on bikes and tricyles, by foot and on horse, the kids — some in costume — accompanied by a few adults, made their way through town during the annual kids parade. They started at St. Eliz- abeth Catholic Church, traveled four blocks down South Canyon Boulevard, along Southwest Dayton Street and up East Main to the Sterling Savings Bank parking lot. Several people stopped on the sidewalk to watch. Many entries reflected the parade’s theme, “Blue Eagle photos Nancy McCarthy Waiting for the parade to begin were cousins (in front) Beau Van Cleave, left, 5, of Mt. Vernon; Brett Burril, 4, of Prairie City; and (in back, left) Coyle Van Cleave, 11 months, of Mt. Vernon; and Brooke Burril, 1, of Prairie City. Jeans and Country Dreams,” with blue jeans prominently displayed on carts, wagons and even on a horse or two. Kids and parents took to the streets Friday during the annual kids parade.
