2015 FOX CREEK FENCE PROJECT

dors by Grant Soil and Water Conservation District (here-
inafter called DISTRICT), at 721 South Canyon Boulevard,
John Day, Oregon 97845 until 3:00 PM PST, June 16, 2015
for the removal and construction of approximately 5.2 miles
of 4-wire fence along Fox Creek in Grant County, Oregon.
Immediately thereafter, Bids will be publicly opened. Bid
WHJRHNLZ^P[OWSHUZZWLJPÄJH[PVUZHUK)PKMVYTZ^PSSIL
distributed at the pre-bid conference and tour. The point of
contact for this Invitation To Bid is Jason Kehrberg at 541-
575-0135 ext. 110 and e-mail jkehrberg@ortelco.net.
The Project location is 4 miles west of Fox, Oregon. All work
associated with this Invitation To Bid must be completed
within a 90 day Contract period commencing the day a
Notice to Proceed is issued by the DISTRICT.
A pre-bid conference and tour of the work area will be
conducted June 9, 2015. Tour participants are to meet at
9:00 AM PST at the junction of Grant County Road #25,
Vaughan Lane and Highway 395 in Fox, Oregon. Bidders
must provide their own transportation. Attendance at the
pre-bid conference tour is mandatory for vendors inter-
ested in submitting a bid. It is strongly suggested that
vendors attending the pre-bid conference tour bring an
ATV in order to access the entire work area. Bids sub-
mitted by vendors who are not in attendance at the pre-bid
conference and tour of the work site will not be considered.
Project will require the use of a mechanized post pound-
er, Shaver Manufacturing Company LLC Model HD-8
or DISTRICT approved equivalent, capable of driving a
6 inch pointed wood post to a depth of 3 feet in undis-
turbed rough terrain.
Individually sealed envelopes or packages containing bids
and supporting data as stipulated in the Invitation to Bid and
shall be clearly marked with the fence project name, 2015
FOX CREEK FENCE PROJECT. Bids sent by mail should

addressed to the DISTRICT as shown above, in care of Pat
Holliday, and likewise shall be clearly marked or endorsed as
stated herein.

in writing at any time prior to bid opening, following the
guidelines established in the Invitation to Bid.
The DISTRICT may reject any Bid not in compliance with all

Each bid must contain a statement whether the Bidder is
a Resident Bidder. A Resident Bidder is one who has a
business address in Oregon and paid income and unem-

months immediately preceding the bid.
The apparent successful Bidder shall provide all required
