Community Blue Mountain Eagle Wednesday, April 15, 2015 A7 Snowy Easter sunrise service Blue Mountain Eagle Snowy weather was no obstacle for the faithful, as worshipers of all ages turn out for the Easter Sunrise Service on Airport Road. JOHN DAY – Any good intentions of wearing your “Sun- day best” or donning Easter bonnets was cast aside at this year’s Easter Sunrise Service. Even with heavy, wet snow falling, about 60 determined worshipers – bundled in winter gear and blankets – braved the elements for the April 5 early morning service in the Crisp Heights area, off Airport Road in John Day.
