Joseph Simon, the Oregon Legisla­
ture seems no nearer u choice than
on the first ballot. Although Fni­
ton has gained {some votes he is

and it is beginning to look as if a
new man would have to be picked
up. Just who this will lie is caus­
ing considerable speculation among
