IMMIGRATION

The Horrible Fate of n Little Girl.
The Efleet Immigration ha« on Suffrage.
Bristol, Tenn.—News has been
received from Edgemont, in the
extreme edge of this county, and
the roughest of Tennesse, that Lil
ly Young, the pretty daughter of
James Young, a farmer, had been
attacked and carried oft' into the
fastnesses of Iron mountain, by a
large brown bear. The beast has
been seen in that vicinity a number
of times lately, and is supposed to
have escaped frem some menagerie
and wandered into that vicinity.
Iron mountain is one of wildest and
most inaccessable sections of the
state and so far searching parties
have not succeeded in finding the
bear or the girl. A rumor says that
part of her body was found on Rip-
son creek, but there is nothing au
thentic.—Ex.

tobe incurabife. For a great many
