At this point, and upon such

concerned, it was indicated by the
Register and Receiver that a cer­
tain reasonable and further mar­
gin of ‘time’ would be accorded to
them to qualify as ‘practitioners’ on
behalf of claimants or contestants
having business before this Land
Office, and according to the ‘‘Regu­
lations” above mentioned.
Altogether, it was an interesting
and important investigation, and
it promises good results for the fu­
ture efficiency and high standing of
our new Burns Land Office—alike
of benefit to ’settlers,’ and a credit
to the Present Administration.
