Tho sudden death of Fred Taylor

day morning was a shock to his
many friends, lie hnd been rilling
for a short time, tho doctor having
bueu called to sco hi in on Sunday as
bo was surfurliiR from a sovoro bend
ache. Ho was feeling bettor the fol
lowing day but again was seized with
the Intoiiso pnlu In bis head Just be
foro ho tiled. Ills physician an
uounco that ho believed death was
caused by an abscess In thu head.

cinity where bo bad followed tho
barber trade at Intervals for several
years, coining horo In 111 14 and nsso
elating himself with Ira Davis. Mo
was ono of tho first volunteers to
leave hero wbon wo cutorod the
world war and served in tho navy
until Its close, making many trips
across In transports. Following tho
war ho returned to this place nnd
while ho bad not devoted all bis
tlmo to thu barber trade, bo was
in town frequently from the farm
whore bo helped In looking after thu
ranch and stock.
Ferd was born In Kansas January
22, 1889 and came to Mums In 1 01 I
with bis pa ron t.s. Ho Is survived by
bis parents, Mr. nnd Mrs. (I. W. Tav.
lor, four brothers, Itussoll, Italph.
llnbort and Pat; three sisters, Mrs.
Hayes, Mrs. Hunk Miller, Josslo.
Italph lives In Spokane, Washington
Mrs. Ilnyes, in Mlunnsoln, the other

present at the funeral which was

recovery but ho made a gallant fight.
The remains were taken to Prairie

his wife and Infant daughter, also his
father and several brothers and sis
tors, llo was 32 years old. Hlo
wlfo was formerly Pearl Hanklns
who Is well known In this city.

opinion thnt these wild horses are
not such a moiiaco Just at proont
as they will bo a benefit In cleaning
up the old grass on the range that
Is really In tho way of the now
growth, besides, bo points out. there
Is n Inck of stock on tho ranges In
this r.ectlon at this tlmo nnd there
will ho fewer next season with the
present deslro of soiling off tho cat
tle, and wo may find tip) horse of
moro value than wo now realize.
