Mo., In 18GC and moved to Arkansas while a small hoy where be had resided un til 1912 when he csme to this sec tion and had since resided with his son William. Deceased was suffer ing from leakage of the heart and had been in tbe hospital In thla city until a few days before bis death when ho requested that he be taken home. Mr. Newton was a member of Hi -i Methodist church and bad been :in Odd Fellow for several years. He la survived by three child ren.
