This train was sent to Harney coun
ty with its quota of good speakers as
a mark of respect for the past efforts
in contributing to war work. The
people showed the right spirit In go
ing to Crane in uumbers to moot the
train and show their continued pa
triotism even though the war is won.
The newspaper man took the time
to call on several acquaintances aril
friends while in Crane and note the
improvements one of which is the
handsome new brick store building to
be occupied by Drinkwater ft Harlan.
He had the pleasure of calling upon
Mr. Wallace, the new cashier of the
