Another mad coyote was killed at the Varian place out in the Valley Wednesday evening by the dogs belonging to the Cox boys who live there. The coyote was attracted by the barking of the dogs and came right in to the yard to fight them. He at la!., d one dog and two others joined In the battle, soon putting the coyote out of it but sacrificed their own lives as a consequence as the boys killed two of the dogs and fer tile other may have been bitten and will keep him tad up. The carcass of the coyote was brought to the specialist who is here from Portland for examination, but there is no doubt of it being a rabid animal.
