denly at her homo in UiIh city

been feeling well nil day and had

tions for Mrs. Faulkner to retire
when alio suddenly said it was
hard to got her breath. Tho
nurse thought sho had merely
fainted but telephoned for her
physician and tho estimablo lady
expired almost immediately. A
little daughtor was born to Mr.
and Mrs. Faulkner on March 2Gth
and tho mother hnd been gaining
rapidly, tho sudden death coming
most unexpectedly. Dr. Marsden
states such cases arc very rare.
It was a terrible shock to the
husband and hundreds of warm
friends when her death was an
nounced. Funeral arrangements
have not been made as both the
mothers of Mr. and Mrs. Faulk
ner are en route from their homes
in the east and their arrival is
indefinite. The services will be
held sometime the latter part of
tho (oming week.
Mrs. Faulkner was born in Van
Wert. Ohio, April J), 1882 and
was married to Mr. Faulkner on
July M. 1909 coming to Rums
soon after where slid has since
made her home. Sho soon made
many friends among her associ
ates in Hums and her homo was
made cheerful by her amiable
disposition. She was most high
ly esteemed by a wide circle of
friends who mourn with tho
bereaved husband her untimely
death.

reached the highest mark of last
year the fore part of this week
and is still rising. The rain and
snow storms of Wednesday gave
some additional moisluio and
there is still considerable snow
in tho mountains which would
indicate a greater supply of flood
water this season and it will last
