A DAILY PAPER PAIR WEIX
The Times-Herald has arrang
ed for competent help both in
the mechanical work and report
orial staff to publish a daily pa
per during fair week and the
Development League meeting.
There will be no particular at
tempt matte to cover anything
but local happenings of interest
and the paper will be delivered
by carriers nt the homes. Those
business men who have been ap
proached have shown a disposi
tion to help, with one exception,
in paying the expense of the
venture by advertising. It is
expected to place at least ope
copy in every residence in Burns
while several business homes
have arranged for more copies in
that portion of the city.
The Times-Herald has mttlo a
success of such an undertaking
in the past and is better prepar
ed to give service at this time
than formerly. The subscrip
tion price will bo 2T cents for tho
week delivered and its readers
will bo supplied with all tho im
portant doings of tho day at the
Development League meetings,
tho fair grounds, circuit court
and other items of a load nature.
Now the Bend Bulletin has
taken up the boost for Jimmio
Donegan for congress. The
Times-Herald is pleased to see
the compliments paid our worthy
townsman and hopes the matter
is taken seriously. Mr. Donegan
is a capable young man and no
better "scrapper" can bo found
in tho district. lie would repre
sent us with credit and not be
