(Continued from pngo ono)
For aphis and leaf hoppers on
roso bushes, a Kerosene emulsion
or Black Leaf spray should bo
used. For flea-beetles on toma
too plants n spray of arsenate of
lead should bo used whenever
they appear; for aphis, the kero

When flea-beetles nro found on
sugar beets, the plants should bo
sprayed at once with arsenate of
lead, and treatment should bo
repeated two or thrco times at
intervals of about two weeks or
so.
"If the beds of violets have
red spiders or aphis, Black Leaf
or koroscno emulsion should be
sprayed, to bo effective."
