Mrs. Bert Cameron died Mnrch

from blood poisoning. She was a
sister to Mrs. Homer Reed of
this city nnd quite well known

formerly lived. Mi. Cameron
had tho misfortune to loso his
hand some two years ngo while
working with mining machinery
in Nevada. Ho had his leg
broken in January last and is
still unnble to work. Sho leaves
besido the crippled husband a
young son.
O. S. Preston and C. W. Schu
man were up from Weaver
Spring neighborhood this week
after supplies and more seed
grain. There will bo a larg nrea
seeded in that section this season
but Mr. Preston, Bays not enough
yet as tho patches aro so scatter
ing nnd far between, the rnbbita to
will bo a great drawback. If all
his noiirhbors would pnt in grain
tho rabbits would havo a larger
area to feed on and not bo such
n noticeable nest. Ho will do
more or less experimenting this

Tho death of BertCronin, men

sue, was caused by cancer of tho
lungs. Tho body wns brought to
Ontario nnd buried by tho Odd
Fellows of which deceased was n
membor. Mr. Cronin wns ono of
Mm nionoers of this section hav
ing lived hero since tho early
'80's. Ho was a man universally
liked and a valuable man to tho
P. L. S. Co. for whom ho had
worked for years. Mr. Cronin
leaves a wifo and two children.
Mrs. Cronin is a Bister to W. b.
and E. T. Haley of this county.
