Presbyterian church Wednesday
evening at which the proposition
of a new church was discussed.
Everything seems favorable to
the erection of a handsomo new

and A. S. Swain was appointed
to investigate more definitely.

tho forest rescrvo fund was

per cent of tho public land sales
amounts to $1,505. Thcso amounts
go to tho road fund nnd help to
build better highways. This
county received the largest ap
portionment in tho state under
tho hitter fund, showing that
thoro has been a greater amount
of public land disposed of hero
than any other county in tho
state,

Martin Koopman was in the
city Tuesday and stated he would
leave this week for Olympia,
Wash., to look after somo busi
