fever. He was placed in the hos
pital and is improving.
Miss Maude Simmons arrived
home Wednesday from an extend
ed visit to California points. She
was accompanied home by Miss
Hatchway. The latter's brother
is working for II. B. Simmons.
Miss Lilian Hendricks is suf
fering from pneumonia at the
homo of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett
Heed in this city. She is being
cared for by her sisters Mrs.
Win. Gray and Miss Vera Hen

looking after some business. He
informs us Marion Horton has re
turned from California improved
in health but not strong enough
to do much work.

Agency yesterday accompanied
by his daughter Miss Agnes. Mr.
Lovo has finished his spring
farm work and says prospects
for crops are good in his section.

recoivo a considerable amount of

sonally calling upon business men
of our city. His company has
made a good rato for wool and
they will get a largo amount of
wool from tho northern part of
this county. Tho Sumpter Valloy
will bo extended to Prairio with
in ten days and when tho roads
nro put in Hhnpo and freighters
started a largo amount of freight
will come m that way.
