The tremendous strides that
njjricuUural pursuits are tnklnjr
in Oi-CROn can nowhere better be
seen than in the Oregon Agricul
tural College. The amount of
literature for all phases of farm
ing is increasing wonderfully and
the heads of tho various depart
ments and the Experiment Sta
tion arc kept busy attending to
tho wants of tho farmer. Es
pecially is this truo in the Horti
culture and Poultry Husbandry
departments. Inquiries for cap
able students to tnko hold of fruit
ranches, general fanning and
stock ranches aro being daily re
ceived and the College is trying
to placo them as rapidly as possible.
