Thoro woro eleven forts to defend nnd pro gression was mado nt tho sound of tho bugle. Tho forts dofonded by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Miller, Miss Swain nnd Sam Motherahead and Mesdnmes I. Schwartz, G. A.
