efore the pandemic, Boston-
based roots-pop band The
Ballroom Thieves played
in Central Oregon several times over
several years.
But that was a different Ballroom
Thieves. More precisely, it was the same
band (minus one member) that will return
to Bend this weekend, but said band is in a
very different place than it was before.
In fact, after 2020 forced a “much-needed
reset” for The Ballroom Thieves, 2022 feels
like a fresh start for the band, said core
members Martin Earley and Calin Peters.
