“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”
(Available now)
Hugh Jackman spins his character off
from the other mutants of the “X-Men”

half brother, alias Sabretooth (Liev
Schreiber). Ryan Reynolds, Taylor
Kitsch and Danny Huston also star.

OF ‘THE BOLD TYPE’ ON FREEFORM
You know, it’s so funny. I did not expect
it at all. I called and asked for it – I was
like, “Come on, guys, I really need this”
– but I was very surprised. I don’t want
to spoil anything, which is really hard
This may sound really cheesy and maybe to do. I have some great spoilers that I
hippy-dippy, but I wrote Kat a letter the

day after we wrapped just to say, “Thank
you.” She’s given me a lot. I’ve had some I think this season as a whole finds all
three of the girls starting to come into
really beautiful interactions with people,
just from walking to get my groceries or their own. Kat specifically is moving into
this space where she’s tapping into her
being at the corner store. It happens at
personal power and using her privilege

Are you happy with where Kat ends some of the challenges and fears that
up as the show concludes?
have held her back.
With the finale of “The Bold Type”
soon to be telecast, how has
finishing your work on the series as
the character Kat been for you?
How was it to film the final
episodes of “The Bold Type” during
the coronavirus pandemic?
It was a very different world. We got
shut down at the same time as the rest
of the planet, so we came back to a
process that was unlike anything that any
of us had ever experienced.
There were so many new aspects to just
being on the set, which is a high-stress
environment anyway. It was intense, but
in general, I felt this overwhelming sense
of gratitude that we had the opportunity
to come back and finish the show in
a way that was intentional. You don’t
always get that.
