“Flatbush Misdemeanors” (Show-
time — series premiere, May 23)
Series creators and writers Kevin
Iso (“High Fidelity”) and Dan Perlman
(“That’s My Bus!”) also take the star-
ring roles in this new character-driven
comedy series about city life, spe-
cifically how two socially awkward
longtime buddies struggle to climb out
of their own heads and start to thrive
in their new surroundings of Flatbush,
Brooklyn. That will require them to
make some connections with other
humans, though, which isn’t easy for
either of them. Kristin Dodson co-stars.
