Timbers
The Bend FC Timbers, Central Oregon’s premier soccer club, is pleased to
announce our outstanding summer soccer camps for 2021. BFCT Summer Soccer
Camps are open to players 5 to 12 years of age. The camps are hosted at Bend FC
Timbers new soccer complex at 3750 NE Purcell Boulevard.
The focus of these camps is on technical skill building (passing, dribbling,
receiving, and shooting) in a fun, small-group environment. Players will be divided
by age, ability, and requests in approximately a 12:1 camper-to-coach ratio.
Camps are off ered from 9 am to noon or 9 am to 3 pm. Morning sessions will
focus on skill building, where campers will rotate through four stations, while
learning various soccer skills, such as dribbling to beat an opponent, 1v1 defending
skills, combination play in small groups, and long balls. A one-hour supervised
lunch break is provided on-site. Campers are required to bring their own lunch.
Afternoons will consist of small-sided games that improve skill and have a higher
touch rate than 11-a-side, with a competitive and fun element. Each day will end in
scrimmages highlighting proper technique and decision-making.
BFCT camps are run by the Bend FC Timbers Soccer directors. Campers are
coached by high-level and skilled BFCT staff coaches and assisted by current and
former competitive local players.
Our goal is to welcome and teach all levels of soccer players while helping them
to love the game!
