When it comes to building, lumber is still the number one material
used in this nation's homes, office and business buildings. This is
the way it will always be . . . because wood has strength, econ
omy, beauty. With planned programs of reforestation and
selective cutting . . . and with projected future needs show
ing an immense demand, the lumber industry faces a
bright future.
Lumber:
The three progressive wood-working firms listed below employ over 400
Prinevilfe residents in various assignments at their plants. Their tax and
payroll contribution over the past years has amounted to millions of dollars.
Each is dedicated to the future of the Prinevilfe and Crook County area.
Each looks forward to the future with anticipation. As more and more logs are
cut, and as more and more of the log is used for different wood products,
these firms and their employes will prosper. And so will Crook County and Prineville.
