Natural gas
plans reported
PORTLAND (UPI) North
west Natural Gas Co. plans a
financing program for 1964
which will involve $20 million,
Francis F. Hill, president, said
today.
He said the company proposes
to issue and sell in early July,
$14 million of new first mort
gage bonds. The company pro
poses also to issue and sell $6
million of new preferred stock
to redeem $5 million of 5.75 per
cent series of preferred stock
presently outstanding, Hill said.
