LONDON, Jan. 6. Lloyd-Ooorge's
head Is a growing Institution.
Prof. J. Mlllett Severn, a consult
ing phrenologist, examined the Brit
ish premier's head back In 1 903 and
found It to measure nearly 23 Inches
around the "perceptlves." A later
examination showed that the lapse
of years bad Increased the circum
ference more than a quarter of an
Inch.
"This goes to prove that as the
mind Is exercised the brain and head
are subject to a larger development,"
said Professor Severn, "This growth
can continue after the subject has
reached the adult age."
When he examined Lloyd-George's
head the second time, Severn told
the present premier of the develop
ment. His Judgment was borne out
by the man who makes the leader's
hat. He said Lloyd-George was tak

belongs, to Bruce and Helen. But

vastating tire sweeps the land, de
stroy the building, and leaves the
place. In ruins. Everything has gone
against Brace.
At a great sacrifice, Helen goes to
Bruce'a father, a wealthy ranchman,
from whom he Wa been estranged.
The purity and goodness; ot the girl,
and her earnest pleas tor the' son,
wins the old man, and father and
son are reunited. The Bitter Rcjots
Mining company la reestablished, and
Helen becomes general mauagor of
more things than a mine.
