600. The deal was closed last Sat
urday. Mr. Klgcr and family Intend
to make their home near Corvallis
in the near future.

day visitors at the Rooney home.

the sad news that their oldest daugh
ter Ethel passed away in Illinois on
July 3. They have the heartfelt

stead made a trip to Bend Saturday.
Mrs. Keller returned with her broth
er, Leo Tauscher, Saturday evening,
while Mr. Grlnstcad remained for
several days.
J. A. Smith and son J. M. Smith,
left for their ranch in Washington to
start the harvest. J. A. Smith is ex
pected to return here this week with
a carload of cattle.
L. G. Morgan and wife called at
the R. R. Keller place Saturday even
ing. Mrs. Morgan Intends to make a
trip to Bend this week.
J. J. Holland Is busy hauling wood,
getting ready for the well drillers
which are expected at bis place this
week.
