Tho new hospital building, erected by tho two mill companies for the use of the Lumbermen's Hospital as sociation, following tho Inability to renew tho contract with the St. Charles hospital, has now been oc cupied by tho association, and two patients nro being cared for. On a site near tho BrooksScanlon oftlco, tho now building overlooks tho river and has a wldo view of tho Snow-capped mountains to tho west. It has 12 rooms, Including n ward for eight patients, an operating room, toilet nnd bathroom, kitchen, din ing room, drug and linen closet, dark room and thrco bedrooms. A feature of tho hospital Is. tho balcony which has tho sun nearly all day and gots tho full benefit of tho flno vlow. Tho building is steam healed, has modern sanitary plumbing and cost $5700. Equipment for tho hospital is furnished by and belongs to tho hospital association. A nurse Is to bo In attendance at nil times, the nurso now in charge being Mrs. R. A. Kendall. J. D. Donovan continues as manager. MANY SHEEP WILL BE SHEARED NEAR BEND (From Thursday's Dally.) That a total of 15,000 sheep will bo sheared In this vicinity (his season Is tho cstlmato of R. A.
