A great many of tho men who Joined the two companies were those of draft ago whoso serial num ber was so low they did not antici pate being called for many months. The decision of tho war department, however, to call tho men at tho rate of nearly two hundred thousand each month has changed tho plans of many of tho men and placed their number next In tho list. Several of tho boys havo volunteered for serv ice, and others have changed their place oC residence. ' .
