ter provision for annual elections,
and It this Is the case Mr. Benson will
ho nut to no further trouble, hut it
the statute does not amend the city
law, the city attorney will draft an
amondment ranking the city election

loes the state balloting. If the
amendment Is found necessary, It
will como up at the special election
which Is to be held soeit for the pri
mary purpose of altering the charter
to admit of the floating of bonds un
der tho Bancroft act.
Whether or not the voting amend
ment should cancel this year's an
nual election Is as yet an uncertain
question.
