Mr. Ollson was representative at tho state camp from Crook and Des chutes counties, and left Bend for La Grando early In tho week, with tho avowed purposo of securing tho bl$ convention for Bend three years from now. Last night ho returned from tho convention city after hav ing obtained for this city Its first big lodge convention. Tho only other city which competed strongly for the honor, Mr. Gllson said, was Seaside and In this direc tion, competition was keen.
