That Central Oregon should havo
a gamo warden anoolnted from thn

ditions to be met, was the opinion oC
tho Dend Commercial club mombora
oxpressed at their weekly gathering;
this noon at the Pilot Butto Inn.
The matter was brought up on tbo
suggestion of Manager 11. J. Over
turf, and after a brief discussion, tho
club authorized Mr. Overturf lo wrlta
the Stato Fish and Gamo commis
sion, urging that a Central Oregon
man should bo appointed to the po
sition, In preference to an outside
man belnn nanied for" the place. Tho
appointment, which Is expected to bo
mado soon, will fill a vacancy which
has existed for abobt six months.
