The splendid crop of grain which was raised in tho coun try cast of Gatuway Is now being hauled to this railway point. The big crop of the Ashwood country Is being hauled here. Much of the grain of the big Agency plains Is utored and shipped through the ware houses of Gateway, therefore the commercial activity Is great. Grain is piled on all sides und If the rail road does not get busy It will have tho road blocked. There arc two general merchandise stores doing a thriving business, a hotel, blacksmith t'hop, und other commercial enter prises. Tho school house would do credit to u city thrice Its size, and they have a school with home forty or more pupils In attendance.
