" I Shearings llnrney County lU'Klstintlon. The registration for Harney Is practically completed, but there are etlll some minor districts to hear from. The total now Is 1,808, which Is the largest number ever recorded In Harney county. Out of this num ber, 1,031 are Republicans. C88 are Democrats, and 89 are scattered. This gives the Republicans 343 majority ns far as registration Is concerned. The women were well represented In the registration rolls, which shows they are taking the proper Interest In politics. There mny be matters to vote upon concerning the women, and they should all register. Harney County Tribune. IT Lake County IteMintlon. Registration closed lost Tuesday evening with quite a rush during the lost few days. The total registration for the county Is 1598. Three hun dred of these have registered during the past eight days. They report that they have secured n good road which will be many miles ihorter between the points mentioned than the road used atjiresent, and u grade can lie obtained of not to ex- eed 9 per cent except for a short distance going out of Ashwood.
