livestock usually Is a very dull affair.
Today's market was no exception to
the rule, not enough cattle were In
tho yards to test the strength of the
market. All lines aro howovor quot
ed steady with last week's top. Top
grain or pulp fed steers would bring
7.r.O, other grades In proportion.
Only a handful of hogs today, a total
of 2300 wore offered to tho trade.
Last week's closing was at a strong
figure and today's season put on a
top of JG.25. TIiIb figure records
an advance of ton cents over last
week. Tho strength of tho Bheep
market was shown In a good" sale of
a double deck of wothors at seven
cents weighed off tho cars. Thlsj
