mended In nn article written for tho
local papors last week. No movement
or intimation that tho suggestions
made were acceptable or oven con
sidered by fnrmers and others havo
lieen received. Tho valuo of organi
zation for tho farmers was very con
cisely put forth by Dr. Mncpherson
whllo In tho county In September.

farmer's organizations for Improv
ing our farm conditions. I nm Hiiro
that material results can bo accom
plished In nn organized effort to erad
icate the rabbits as a pest. This Is
only one good reason for organized
effort. ICvory rural community should
have nn association or club organiza
tion for three deflnlto purposes: these
purposes aro as follows: "Hotter
farming, better business, better liv
ing." All our farm operations, our busi
ness and social dealings can bo han
dled under such a club or association.
No dues or expenses nro necessary.
The meetings can bo hold nt tho
school houso. Any work for the
good of tho community enn bo under
taken by tho organizations.
Tho success of any organization de
pends upon tho ability nnd activity
of tho peoplo to bo benefitted thereby.
