which will run tho lumber company's

In practically two months, the tlmo
set when tlio work wan begun. Tho

pear slnco unforeseen difficulties werq
encountered durtiK the work. Includ
ing a flood caused by the closing of
an Irrigation canal up river, anil tho
neeewlty of going n'ne feet below tho
river bottom to find a suitable foun
dation on the east end of the dam
and the eonseiiuent additional Um
ber work to build up from the foun
dation. The dam, with abutments. Is ISO
long, the abutments, to ho llnishod
shortly, bolng 75 feet long on tho
west mid and 00 feot on the oast.
