man of October 27, 1910:
"The opposition to Deschutes coun

Itodmond Commercial Club, In Ita ar
gument favoring the creation of Des
chutes county, aald:
"Crook, tho parent county of tho
proposed, county of Deschutes, la fav

voto in Crook county. 271 for. 1382
against, showd how "favorable" tho
parent county actually was.

overwhelmingly beaten becauso tho

not come and all were agreed that it
