records by Max Crandnlt, expert ac
countant, who has boon sent here by
the City ot Hend and by School Dis
trict' No. 12, It appears that an oven
creator amount ot money wilt be
forthcoming for tho territory ho rep
resents than was at first supposed.
At least, a preliminary statement,
sent to his employora by Mr. Cran
dnll, shows that an amount in oxcoss
or the (992, claimed on road tax In
apparently duo tho city, while tho
District Rcems to have about $1500
coming to It.
Tho figures aro not complete as yet
but Mr. Crandall's preliminary re
port which will be presented In de
tail In a few days Is to this effect:
