Best-Hated of Farm Tasks
: N tho sprcadcrlosa farm tho thought

up constantly in barn yards, stables,
and stalls, is a gloomy one. Tlioso

hard work. It must all bo loaded on IiIkIi
wnKons. It must bo raked off in pilos in tho
fields. Then every forkful must bo shaken
apart and Spread.
Compare that old-fashioned method with tho
I H C spreader way. You pitch tho manuro
into tho spreader box, only waist high, drive
out and tho machino does all tho rest. And
it spreads evenly and far less wastcfully.
I H C Manure Spreaders
aro farm necessities. Tho man who uses one
will Bet tho prico of it back in increased crops
before its newness has worn off.
Every detail and featuro counts. They do
best work always and stand every strain for
years. They aro mado in all styles and sizes,
for small farms and large, low and high ma
chines, frames of braced and trussed steel.
Uphill or down, or on tho level, tho apron
drive assures even spreading, anfl the covering; '
of corners is assured by rear axlo differentials.
In all styles tho rear axle is placed bo that it
carries near three-fourths of tho load. This,
with the wide-rimmed wheels with Z-shaped
lS8,.mnke.s ,for. Plenty of tractivo power.
Winding of tho beater Is prevented by largo
diameter and tho beater tfceth aro long, strong
and chisel pointed.
