ll Five Solid Reasons I
Stop the LossFires are Unnecessary
Brick is absolutely fire proof in any ordinary conflagration.
Brick Buildings never burn, although they are sometimes
injured by falling timbers or combustible interior woodwork.
A brick building is absolutely fire proof if wire glass- is used
in the windows and if burned clay floors are used.
An interior fire in such n building is confined to the room in
which it originates; no outside fire can attack it.
The proportion of burned clay in a building construction
measures its fire proof qualities.
Burned clay is the only building material that has been
through the fire before you get it, in such a manner that it will
resist fire. All combustible material is burned out of the brick
before you get it.
WHEN YOU BUILD USE BRICK.

IVE solid reasons why each farm
needs a manure spreader are these,
in the words of a farmer who has
devoted much time to correct soil
fcedinc. 1. It saves disagreeable
hard work. 2. It pulverizes and mixes
manure mass. 3. It distributes manure
evenly over the field, insuring a good, even
stand of grain. 4. It prevents loss of nitrogen
through fermentation or leaching in the pile
when manure is hauled directly from the stable.
S. Indirectly, the ease with which It can be
' handled encourages the owner to care for the
manure and distribute it on the fields care
fully instead of wasting it.
I H C Manure Spreaders
will work uncomplainingly for years making
profits for the owners. You will find them all
styles and sizes, high and low, endless apron
or reverse.
I H C manure spreaders are exceedingly
durable, strong, correctly built to stand all con
ditions and all strains they may meet. Each
feature has its purpose. Up hill or down or
cutting corners, they spread all kinds of
manure evenly, in a light or heavy coat at
the will of the driver. The beater drive is
strong and simple, beater teeth arc square and
chisel pointed to pulverize the manure, and
the largediameter of the beater prevents wind
ing, The rear axle, carrying a large percent
age of the load, insures ample tractive power.
