We are moving into our new quarters in the Lara building on Oregon street. There we will add
many new lines to our stock, making it one of the most complete and up to date grocery stores in Cen
tral Oregon. Sixty per cent of our new business comes to us through the recommendations of our
satisfied customers and friends. We are advertised by our customers and friends and we are fortunate
in having many of them. Nearly every one likes to see a good commodity succeed and is ready to pass
it on to their friends. The giving of special values is one of the greatest features of our business. It de
mands our constant study and receives our closest attention. Our aim is to sell a superior article, that
one order will bring another, and it usually does. We have started out to make 1913a record sale year
and to accomplish this we have made successful efforts to give better quality, wider variety and greater
values as inducements for larger orders from our customers. The response has been prompt and gen
eral and we again thank our friends and customers for the size and frequency of their orders.
OPENING
.. We will have our opening day on Monday, June the 2nd. We would like for every one living in
Bend and the surrounding country to visit our store on this day. We will have numerous samples to

Coffee and Tea
Department.
We are especially proud of this department.
We have installed a new and up to date electric
coffee mill in order to deliver to our customers a
fresher and more satisfactory coffee than heretofore.
Mr. Stovall
an expert coffee and tea salesman with Closset &
Devers, will demonstrate their line in our store for
several days. This firm is one of the oldest and
best on the Coast and we highly recommend thSir
