will have a brick voneer front, with
sheet Iron walls, and is Intended only
as a temporary atructure, as It Is Dr.
Kermott' plan bu erect a fine perma

present leaccs which run for four
years expire. The building contract
has been let to K. D. Mcintosh. The
structure will not take all the apace
between tho Log Cabin and tho
Dream Theatro, leaving a good pas
sageway along tho latter building as

Dr. Kermott bad planned to put up
a brick or stone building on his lot
next to Thorson's Jewelry store, but
will probably not now alnce making
this new deal. He nnd his wlfo ar

left Sunday morning, going to Port

morning of tho 9th and at Itedmond
In tho afternoon, the special car that

down on a freight that will be held
on that day.
Last year about 400,000 pounds of
wool camo hero, there being no reg
ular sale as all of It was contracted
for. From tho present outlook more
than 600,000 pounds will be handled

for the appointment of Teal to tho

vacancy occur, as it is rumored may
be the case.
O. Laurganrd, the project engineer,
told somewhat of the actual work
that is to be undertaken on the Tum
alo segregation, and especially asked
the hearty cooperation of all local
people. Tho stand which Ilend takes
one of enthusiastic applause for
the entire project and those behind it
was voiced by C. S. Hudson. A. II.
Devcrs of Portland, first upon tho
program, had some good things to
