HOLY AT, July 8 Settlers of the Early and Lato Association of Hamp ton valley held their yearly picnic in the buttea In a beautiful valley at tho Ilarb Wire ranch of Logan & Davison on the Fourth. At noon tho ladles spread their linen under ho Junipers, and even an epicure could not have found fault with tho dainties. At roll call there were found to be 104 present. Prof. W. L. Powers of the agricul tural experiment farms In Crook county delivered an instructive ad dress. There was horso racing and a spir ited game of baseball between Hamp ton and Dry Lake.
