FRUIT TREE ENEMY.

A. recent surprise to entomologists Is
the (hiding of pear thrlps In New York
state, says a bulletin or the suite ngn

not be reached by Interim! poisons, but

nition of their presence and prompt,
thorough, quickly repeated applica
tions are necessary for success.
The nicotine preparations are very
effective, especially when combined
with an oil emulsion which has a pen
crating quality.
